Hi, My name is Mae, and I have a passion for food.
​
My love for food began in high school where I took baking and cooking classes as an elective. After, I attended the California Culinary Academy (Le Cordon Bleu) in San Francisco. I graduated in 2006 and worked as a line cook in restaurants, hotels, and other corporations (Apple Headquarters). After working in the food industry for a few years I decided to take a break and change professions. I worked as a phlebotomist and attended nursing school. Even when I changed fields I couldn't stay away and had my own little cake pop business on the side.

Now, I'm back at it and to sell more baked goods. But, this time it's not cakepops (I absolutely hated making those dreadful things, LOL). I wanted to do something more personal by creating Filipino-American inspired desserts. Everything on my menu has a story and there's a little bit of history behind it. I want to share with you some of the greatest memories from my childhood.
